We are constantly seeking the latest and greatest in beauty and wellness. We pride ourselves on being on the cutting edge to deliver a dose of the newest and most effective beauty tips. So when we stumble across something new that makes too much sense to pass up, we have to share. Here are three life-changing skincare hacks you’ve likely never heard of.

Morning exfoliation
The consensus has always seemed to be that nighttime exfoliation was the answer. It allowed for richer serums and night creams to be more easily absorbed, as well as avoid any sensitivity that can come from sun exposure after exfoliating. So why switch it up now? What’s so great about exfoliating in the morning? Morning scrubs stimulate circulation, which in turn stimulate collagen and elasticity. Scrubbing first thing will deliver an all-natural glow too! Start slowly with one to two times per week to allow your skin to adjust, and always remember to apply the sunscreen afterward.

Skip your nose
Noses collect shine, blackheads, you name it. Because the largest pores on the face are in this area, it’s a natural oil factory. This is why the pores on the nose clog so easily, causing that dreaded congestion in and around the nose. It’s a problem area for many of us, but what can we do? Stop applying serums and creams to your nose. The only cream necessary is sunscreen, and definitely keep applying that. Simple, right? Give your nose a break by scrapping the heavier serums and creams, and just use sunscreen.

Tint your windows
It might seem ridiculous, but just consider how much time you spend in your car. Window tinting protects against 99% of the harmful UVA and UVB rays that stream through your window every day, beating down on your skin while you sit in traffic. These dangerous rays cause wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and even cancer. If you’re not into the tinted look, a clear UVA/UVB film is available too. It’s time to get creative with how we approach skincare, and consider it from all angles.
